I never made it through Xanadu. I tried several times with varying levels of drunkeness (from "not at all" to "very."
There seems to be some kind of creepy Rotoscoping-esque art going on there.
I actually recognized the hand of Messrs Netzer and Anderson. Never realized that Kuper ever did color for Marvel.
That's not Travolta, that is Michael Beck.

yeah. that's one of those things they do just to get a studio to listen. Lief Garrett was supposed to play the Surfer.

I was too young to follow it, but the effects were neat to an 80's kid. The Nostalga Chick actually reviewed this movie. It doesn't look like I missed out on anything.
I am forever conflating Two of a Kind (which DOES star Travolta and Comic Book Olivia Newton-John) and Xanadu in my mind. It's really not right. I'm sorry.
