Today in Comics History, September 26: Happy birthday, Dawn Geiger!

Born on this day: Dawn Geiger, Marvel Bullpen production manager and designer during the late '80s-early '90s!

from Marvel Age #57, 93 and 105 (Marvel, December 1987, October 1990 and October 1991); text by Mike Carlin (#57), Chris Eliopoulis & Barry Dutter (#93) and Mike Lackey (#105); pencils and inks by Ron Zalme; colors by Paul Becton (#57), Marie Javins (#93), and Renee Witterstaetter (#105)

You may wonder, with those job titles, just exactly what is it Dawn would do! Here's two descriptions of her role at Marvel: one serious, one silly. I'll leave it to you to decide which is which.

Now that you know what she does, can you locate where Dawn is within the Marvel Bullpen? Hint: she is being hugged by a tentacle.

Dawn Geiger was also once in the running to be the new Captain America. According to this cover. Which, as you all know (quote along with me), is canon, fanboys!

According to her trading card, Dawn knew how to get results at work.

So we wish you an amazing birthday, Dawn, and hope you party like it's 1986 or 1992!
