Like many of his Hollywood contemporaries, Buster had his own strip in the long-running British magazine Film Fun:

"Headwork!" from Film Fun (Amalgamated UK), issue and date unknown
Sadly, he doesn't have too many other comic book appearances that I could find - so go watch one of his films tonight! I especially recommend Sherlock Jr., The Boat, or Seven Days to start you out!

from "The Joe Franklin Story" in High Times #70 (Trans-High Corporation, June 1981); script by Josh Alan Friedman; pencils, inks, and letters by Drew Friedman
Happy birthday, Buster!

Was anything in a British comic paper actually funny?
Huh. Wikipedia says Joe Franklin’s son was named Bradley.
