I didn't realize that the "Spirit Pork N' Beans" was a throw back to the Eisner stuff, thanks for hte knowledge. Also, there was a different cover solicited with a more Darwyn Cooke-y can o' beans.
When I saw the cover (the Cooke version) I thought the cover was a reference to an Eisner splash page. This version looks sarcastic- I wonder why they didn't print the Cooke version?
