Yes, I know that's not the Twin Towers.

Yes, I know the Martian Manhunter isn't real...

But I liked the quiet reflectiveness of this image that has taken on a different emotional meaning since it was published 15 years ago. Today I remember and reflect that there were heroes who wore no spandex, who had no superpowers, who didn't come from alien worlds.

Remember.
