Yes, Avril actually appears in the manga, as the (imaginary) pal of the troubled protagonist:

But the rules tell us that she can't get an entry in The Official Handbook of the Avril Lavigne Universe until she's made an appearance in three comic books. So lucky, then, that we have this comic:

Not to mention this, whatever this is:
from "Ticket Masters of Evil" in Toyfare #69 (tee hee) (Wizard, May 2003), by Pat McCallum, Tom Root, and Zach Oat, with Justin Aclin, Robert Bricken, Adam Patyk, and Jon Gutierrez
So, in conclusion, everybody loves Avril Lavigne. Isn't that right, Wrecker?
from Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man #126 (Marvel, May 1987), script by Danny Fingeroth, pencils by Alan Kupperberg, inks by Art Nichols and Vince Colletta, colors by George Roussos, letters by Rick Parker
Happy birthday, Avril! I'll always be your Sk8er Bull.
