Today in Comics History, August 31: Happy birthday, Hector Collazo!

Born on this day in 1967: comics artist Hector Collazo (Daredevil, Static, Avengers, Batman, Marvel Comics Presents and more).

Hector sadly passed away in 2012. He's one of those artists I wish we'd had more work from.

Can you find Collazo among the Marvel Bullpen folks?

I think I met him at, I wanna say, ComicFest ’93 in Philadelphia, and he was a really nice guy. Sorry to hear of his passing so young. I appreciate the work you put into the giant tributes to, well, comics giants but also your remembrances of lesser-known folks like this.
