Today in Comics History, February 27: Bruce Wayne has terrible handwriting

from Batman and Robin (2011 series) #19 (DC, July 2012), script by Peter J. Tomasi, pencils by Lee Garbett, inks by Ray McCarthy and Keith Champagne, colors by John Kalisz, letters by Dezi Sienty

But also see "Bruce Wayne has Beautiful Handwriting." Clearly one of these Bruce Waynes is a fake.

You do get a new set of checks every time you switch banks. Maybe he just rotates through his accounts. And the 1986 is a good gag considering the payee.

OH MAN I NEVER EVEN REALIZED THAT.

How 'bout that account number? 0005193927 = May 1939, #27, the cover date and issue number of Detective Comics in which (like I have to tell you this) Batman debuted.

Wow, yes, I didn't see that either! I never knew Bruce was so into numerology.
