Later, "Gallant" became a famous and acclaimed comic book writer and editor. Meanwhile, "Goofus" got squat. (Unless this is the same guy, in which case, hey, he finally did get to put Wolverine front and center, didn't he?)

I'm somewhere in between the two. I don't proclaim I can "save" anything. I will, however, log my complaints, and make suggestions that might or might not work, and will accept either eventuality. And yet, I'd rather find something to praise rather than something to slam.

Yikes! At first I thought this sounded a wee bit racist, but then I thought, 'Well, at least Sam's cool with inter-racial relationships.'

Oh, and am I the only one old enough to remember the Public Enemy album where they sample a radio interview where a caller tells Chuck D to, "Go back to Africa"...and the disc jockey laughs? Maybe Sam became a DJ.
