Ironically given the series in which this story appeared, Mystery in Michigan was the original name of the long-lived DC anthology that brought us such features as Space Cabbie (originally Michigan Cabbie), Space Ranger (originally Michigan Ranger), and of course Adam Strange (originally Adam Fortiscue of Burlington Township, New Jersey).
