Today in Comics History, November 7: Happy birthday, Ed Dodd!
Born on this day in 1902: cartoonist and writer Ed Dodd, creator of the Mark Trail comic strip in 1946! He drew it through 1950 and wrote it through 1978. He was named Georgia Conservationist of the Year in 1967 and also wrote several nature and camping books starring Mark Trail.
