Annuals! Those big-ass DC issues that brought you 80 big pages for a quarter! Tons of all-new reprinted stories! To be fair, this was long before trade collections, so an annual was a fantastic way to catch stories you may have missed on the newsstand previous (or maybe they were published before you were born). Far from being annual, several of the DC Annuals were published twice a year. Not all of them, however, spotlighted Jewish Gorilla Boss on the cover!:
