Of course Freddy gets the Tiny Tim line. How lame is th— uh, I mean...
My Goodness! I never realized what Bedroom eyes young Freddy actually has!
I love the easy, cartoony style that C.C. Beck — and Schaffenberger, and Pete Costanza — gave Billy and Captain Marvel, but it sure clashed with the rest of the Marvel Family in group stories when the others were drawn even slightly more realistically (never mind the likes of Mac Raboy's Freddy/Junior). If thugs in the Fawcett Universe held to the Bunker Hill maxim "Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes!" then Billy would've been totally safe. It's a wonder nobody ever hooked him up with Little Orphan Annie to make optically normal babies.
