If Alfred is sick of violence, he's really not gonna like the way that play ends.

I could see Alfred as Macbeth..."Is this a dagger I see before me? That's it! I shall become a dagger!"
Not to mention the staging and costume make no sense. Methinks there was a reason Alfred returned to butling.
