Wrong credits this time. I'm not sure what issue this is though. Love your site. I check it everyday. Thanks for the great blog.
Hmmm, you're absolutely right, Cully! I musta mislabeled the scan. I can't immediately find what ish it's from either...anyone out there know their Thor inside and out (ew, that's not what I meant!) and can help in the ID?
And thanks so much for the nice words, Cully!
THOR #294 (Apr 1980); Roy Thomas / Keith Pollard / Chic Stone, true believer!

Ah ha! Right you are, Chris! Thanks so much and consider yourself heartily Bull-Prized or duty above and beyond the call of...um, duty. Keith Pollard Division!
You wanna know the ironic thing about this? That is the first issue of Thor I ever read. Considering it is a story about the intelligent giant eyeball of Odin telling Thor the origin of Asgard as filtered through Wagner's Ring Cycle, it's a wonder I picked up #295!
Yeah, Walt Simonson kind of hand-waved this story away in the issue he did with Odin's grandfather. But his dismissive summarizing of the story just made me curious about it, so I eventually tracked down the back issue!
