Seems like nearly all of the people on that bus — Wonder Man, Thor, Yellowjacket, Wasp, Iron Man, Vision, Starhawk, Ms. Marvel (if that's her) — could have flown to Queens in less than thirty minutes. Can Moondragon fly? What about Jocasta?
Even if one of them had to carry Hercules, and another had to carry Cap and Hawkeye, it seems like they'd be better off traveling under their own power. What if there's a delay in the tunnel?
I volunteer to carry Black Widow.
And this is why we need better public transportation in this country.
Or at least teleporters.
Now I've got that Weird Al song in my head. Dadadundundun, the Avengers ride the bus...
If they were going to call a bunch of taxis anyway, why didn't the Avengers just ride in those, and save the poor bus passengers the hassle?
Because JIM SHOOTER! That's why!
It's a cute enough bit but needed a bit more thought. If nothing else Iron Man could have carried the bus to Queens.
I like how sulky Cap looks next to Thor.
