The "big palooka" version of Beast is still my favrit. I can appreciate the instinct to ugly him up a notch, but the notion of a character who is simultaneously a throwback to our pre-sapiens past and a vision of our post-sapiense potential - but who isn't at the same time a consarned cereal mascot (wrote that before I remebered about CatBeast, oddly) - is an attractive one, I think.

The scene's kind of perfect on its own. You just know what's about to happen.
