The expression in the last panel is priceless. I remember reading this years ago and it still makes me smile. George Tuska was The Man!
You know, that last panel sure as heck looks like Jim Starlin instead of Tuska. I wonder if that was a last-minute art assist?
Now, this is getting to the Hank McCoy who ultimately became my favorite Marvel character (no, not Ultimate Hank McCoy): cheerful, fun-loving, and still as brilliant, erudite and polysyllabic as ever.
I always loved the fact that his transformation into Blue And Fuzzy made him even MORE at home in his own skin. He's the Marvel character least prone to whining, and that is the Best Mutant Power Ever.
Show me the Beast!
The narrator refers to EGR as the late actor, they must be referring to him as being tardy because he didn't die until January, 1973!
"Stop talking what, Copper? NYAH! This is how I talk, see?"
Crazy stuff like this is why this year will be just as fun as watching ol' Blue Eyes/Orange Rocks in 2009.
