Tremendously sad news-- my all-time favorite female dancer, and so brilliant in the clip you posted (and really in all of The Band Wagon, where she handles dance and comedy with equal grace).

That's one of my favorite dance scenes.

I'll always remember her dancing with Gene Kelly in the "Broadway Melody" segment of Singing in the Rain -- one of the sexiest dances ever put on screen.
