This is my fave 10oaK so far. Made me smile all big.
It's really creepy that Robin's first thought is that if Batman is married, then he, Robin, is no longer of any use whatever to Batman.I mean, he is the kid sidekick, still, right? Not Bruce Wayne's Bum Boy Until Something a Bit More Feminine Comes Along?
I like this one lots too. Although I am kind of disappointed not to see that one issue of 'Superman's Girlfriend' where Lois Lane marries...oh, wait, that was Bruce Wayne, wasn't it. Still...
Don't the ladies realize Batman is married to his job? It'll never work out. So sad ...Gotham Central #11 is also a fine smoochy Batman cover (and what ultimately introduced me to the work of Ed Brubaker, so double-yay).
If there is one thing that the Timm et al. animated DC shows have taught me, it is that all the ladies love the Batman.
Not just the ladies! Hubba hubba!
