I notice Ben Grimm is the only person who apologizes politely for messing up the cover! All the others seem indifferent to the comic book's condition or positively gleeful. Doom looks like he's just doing it for the fun of messing up some kid's FF comic....

I'm wondering whether the comic wrecked by the Thing is worth $2500 because the Thing is accidentally bursting through its cover, or if that devalued it?
