No, not comics that star James Bond...



But rather, in eager anticipation of this Friday's opening of the Casino Royale movie, here's comic covers that homage, pastiche, and celebrate Bond!:

Think that PLANETARY cover is more a Steranko homage than a Bond one; but then, what was Steranko's Fury other than Marvel clambering on the Bond-wagon anyway?

It was definitely a Steranko art homage, but the character on it is the Planetary Universe's James Bond, John Stone. So you get a little of each!
