365 Days of KirbyTech, Day 49: Reed Richards' Compu-Beam

Splash page from Silver Surfer (1968 series) #5 (April 1969), script by Stan Lee, pencils by John Buscema, inks by Sal Buscema, letters by Sam Rosen

Reed may call it the Compu-Beam, but I like to say it's the Fantastic Four's Bathroom Alarm.

Can it be considered Kirbytech even if uncle Jack wasn't directly involved?

When the Thing drops a deuce, all four buttons light up.

Does anyone else find it weird that Reed's shaving while Ben's in the shower? I know they're BFFs, but that's pushing it.

Does anyone find it weird that the Thing uses shampoo?

Jef Willemsen: Sure, why not! :) My criteria is that it looks like or is inspired by KirbyTech, even if it's not by Kirby himself. That said, I'm sure some of mine stretch that definition.

Dave: Not as strange as that issue which shows the Thing and the Torch share a bed!

Nathan: How else can he maintain his gorgeous, glistening rocks?
