The local video store only has the "Flashback Edition" DVD with the photoshopped floating faces cover, so that may be why I didn't recognize the homage in the comic cover.
I'm more distracted with the fact that the woman posing as Freefall for that cover looks to be at least fifteen years older than the character she's pretending to be.

An appropriate ten of a kind for Oscar weekend, but I'm afraid I just can't place the movie poster the issue of "The Loners" is based on.

If that doesn't help, here's a second clue: it's a reference to a John Hughes film. As is, delightedly, every single cover of The Loners limited series.
