The only Green Lantern comic I ever read for the longest time - like, up until I borrowed a Hard-Travellin' Heroes book from the library aged 19 - was the issue BEFORE that one.
And holy smokey bacon, but was that a great darn comic book. The ending. The ending! The tension! So unresolved! And it was the same, every time I read it. And I only realised about five years ago, having not read it for ten or more years, that it was drawn by Dave Gibbons.
To this day, I'm still not sure if I've ever read the issue above. I must have. I must have. I don't own it, but I must have. But can I remember what happens? Hell, no.
