Amadeus - Namora is actually Namor's cousin and first appeared in Marvel Mystery Comics. She's been brought back into the Marvel Universe recently in the wonderful Agents of Atlas miniseries.
My first thought was that Namora just punched Alan Scott. My second thought was that, perhaps I should read something OTHER than comics for a day or two.

Silver Sable -- oh, snap!
love the mook blindsided by Batman hiding in a freaking painting! So simple yet effective!
And I can't get over the creepily real emotion displayed by Superman being punched by a giant fist...
Love the last one in the series. And, is Namora a pre-Marvel comic or completely apart from that continuity/Namor?
I had totally forgotten about that issue of Gotham Adventures that guest-starred George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley. Good find, Bully!

That Silver Sable line still doesn't compare to the classic "Hey Vasquez, ever been mistaken for a man?" "No, have you?"
Thanks, Matthew. I think I first ran into her in The New Warriors; just had no idea she went back that far in comics history. Cool.
I love the Wolverine cover.
"Aaaaaggggghhh!"
