Great post. I miss Peter and MJ already. I surprised myself by "finding something in my eye" while reading the last bit of "One More Day," perhaps the last bit of shock that they really went through with it.
It's too bad that every single possible story concerning a married superhero has been told. At least this change seems to work seamlessly with Marvel continuity.
Spidey can find it in himself to lift a 20 ton piece of machinery off of his back because of the thought of all the people who rely on him but he can't say no to the devil?
I truly believe in my heart of hearts Mr. Joe Q(argh)ha doesn't know that Peter & Mary Jane are more like the best of every thing in a comic book couple. He just wants to be the one who controls the Marvel U. & tell Stan Lee you never created these I did. I find it sad that Stan's letting this happen? aren't you sifi_reader@yahoo

So begins Spider-Boycott: 2008 on Secret Wars on Infinite Earths!
As silly as it sounds, I'm a little surprised they did it. I didn't believe the hype -- and look what happened!
*sniffle*

Here's another good one. It incorporates that classic line...

[sigh]...Leave it to the little stuffed bull to sum up everything wrong with this idea, without saying a word. Thanks, Bully.
