Comics at Housing Works: Squirrels and spiders and sets, oh my!

Today in the Comics Cave I mined a rich new vein of Marvel True Believer reprint books, all available for $1 each in the Comics Rack at ⁦Housing Works Bookstore and Café! (Stan Lee himself gives this assortment a hearty excelsior!)

Who run the world? Squirrels! Squirrel Girl, that is! We got in some new issues of the perennially popular series and they're now in the Comics Rack, under "S" for Squirrel Girl, not "U" for Unbeatable! *Yeah, we've had some discussions aka arguments about that point). Don't go nuts, get 'em at Housing Works!

We've expanded and moved our ever-popular Spider-Man section to the much-bigger Comics Cart and added lots of back issues! Here's just a few of the recent Spidey titles on sale. Swing on over an' pick 'em up!

Complete sets of comic book miniseries and story arcs can also be yours — multiple comics packaged in one bag! We collect 'em together so you don't have to!

"And the rest!" as the season one theme song for Gilligan's Island told us. For a great selection of backissue comics, graphic novels, books, CDs, DVDs and more, please stop into NYC's Housing Works Bookstore and Café: 126 Crosby St. near the Broadway-Lafayette (B/D/Q/F) or Bleecker Street (6) subway stations!

All these comics are now on sale (or will be) in the Comic Department at Housing Works Bookstore and Café, 126 Crosby St., New York City. (Subway directions: Take the B, D, F or M train to Broadway/Lafayette, or the 6 train to Bleecker Street). Availablity of these issues not guaranteed, because sometimes they sell fast! But there's always plenty of other comics (and books, CDs, DVDs, and records to peruse)! Ask for Bully, the Little Stuffed Bull Who Runs the Comic Book Section!

Update as of 9/21/2021: The comics department at Housing Works has closed and the stock has been sold off. I no longer volunteer there. There is still a very small section of comics available for sale, but without the previous range and variety. Please be nice to the clerks and staff when you visit; this was not their decision.
