Actually, I think the Jetsons went to the Stone Age to pick up the Flinstones and then circled back around to the 20th Century to hook up with the bears. How else do you explain the non-Bedrock, non-future houses behind them? Plus: Nothing says 1988 like videocassettes.
I assume the Jetsons also taught the Flintstones what Christmas was entirely considering the Flintstones lived just a few years before Christ was actually born, thereby making it hard to know about the man at all, let alone celebrate his birth as a holiday of some sort.
