I love subway covers! Growing up in NYC always made these covers that much more special. Here's a couple more I recall from my early reading:

I just realized... How did you get that cover for Ms. Marvel #24? It was never published as "Ms. Marvel #24", was it? It was collected in some other book, right?

Or do you have trans-dimensional powers that let you pick up books from alternate earths?

Sphinx, I was traveling on Doc Doom's time platform (with my good pal Mister Grimm) and I picked it up on a newsstand in 1979. But golly, you're right! I took it over to Doctor Richards and he put it through a barrage of sub-molecular tests and analyzed its quantum structure and read the letters column and determined that in some way, some how, Ben and I had influenced the creation of an alternate universe in which Ms. Marvel ran until issue #25, rather than #23. It was a blissful utopia where hunger, war, and intolerance had been wiped out. Sadly, Dr. Richards said we couldn't get back to that universe, but I could keep the comic book.

(Or, I found it here.)
