But if you're going to play in the snow in Manhattan, make sure you play nicenot like these guys:
Panels from Fantastic Four #242 (May 1982), written and drawn by John Byrne, colors by Glynis Wein, letters by Jim Novak
So remember, you may be a crook, but that snow excuse for being a dumbass and trying to mug a superhero. Ben Grimm sure knows how to bowl 'em over, doesn't he? Why, he's having a real ball!
So take it from the Thing, the original abominable snowman: safe winter play is snow accident!

Gotta say, the Marvel U is populated with some very, very stupid people.
What's next - they dig themselves out and go see if they can dodge Captain America's shield? Or try to race Spidey up a wall? Ooh, I know! Find Thor and set up a little hammer-throwing competition!
Well actually...most criminals ARE stupid! That's why they're criminals!
There was just a story in the paper this week about some idiot who walked into a bank and tried to open an account with a MILLION dollar bill, that he had made all by himself! He was quite indignant, when the teller stopped laughing and called the cops.
But is IS nice to see the Thing playing in the snow.
Awww.. you should've posted the next panel where Benjy zings the mugger imbedded in the snowboulder. Always liked that one...
"Halp!" is always funny. Same goes for "Baw!"
The shadow of "Death Wish" and, to a lesser extent, Jan-Michael Vincent's "Fighting Back" loomed over the Marvel Comics New York City for a looooong time. Every month, some incognito hero gets harassed by thugs, usually decked out in vest w/no shirt, a la "The Warriors."
Holy Spit!
