Why is Nightcrawler fighting pirates? WHY?
Roland, all I can answer is: Why not? Why wouldn't he fight pirates?
Actually, it's been some time since I looked at it, but if I remember, this Nightcrawler miniseries (1985) featured Kurt bamfing his way through different fantasy worlds, trying to get back home. The pirate world was the first of them, allowing Nightcrawler to engage in his Errol Flynn swashbuckling fantasies.
'Member when Nightcrawler was the happy-go-lucky, carefree, larger-than-life adventure character in The X-Men?
