    At first I was all, "Wait a minute, some of these numbers are higher than 5,000," but then I thought, "Of COURSE there's more than 5,000 hats -- it's Jack Kirby." The term is like "The Hitchhiker's Trilogy" that way.

    Besides, in a few years' time, we'll probably be spotting Kirby hats that we didn't realize were hats because we just haven't caught up to Jack yet.

    Fixed, Brian. Although the coolness of Jack Kirby's hats does transcend mere mortal numbers, it might just be that the problem was it's sometimes difficult to count that high on hooves.

    Kirby Hats, Yaaay!

    I just got a couple Mighty Thor Masterworks, and thought while reading them "Gee, it's a shame so many of these magnificent Kirby Hats have gone uncatalogued by Bully!"

    I sure didn't mean it as "It's a mistake oh noes" -- I genuinely thought it was subtle commentary about the awesomeness of Jack Kirby.

    And when I was looking at the previous entries, I realized that there's been three of these and Serifan hasn't appeared yet. Kudos on finding the less obvious stuff! These posts are a lot of fun.
