Bully Says: Comics Oughta Be Fun!: A Grand Day Out: Seeing the J. M. W. Turner exhibit

While on our vacation in Westbrook, Conneticut, I am "taking in" (that's the way fancy art buffs say it) the J.M.W. Turner exhibition from The Tate Museum in London at Mystic Seaport Museum! Wow, I did not know he was quite so huge, y'all — he has an enormous autograph!

And where'd he get that cool glow-in-the-dark pen? i hope they sell 'em at the gift shop.

I have learned my lesson and the Mystic Seaport Museum will be pleased to learn that following that unfortunate instance at the Tate in London, that I no longer lick the paintings.

Truly, he is the Painter of Light...oh, wait, that's a reflection from John's camera flash. Never mind.

Wow, that'sa lotta guys standing around waiting for the ice cream van.

This one is my favorite because COWS.

The docent had to come over and tell me to stop saying MOOO to the paintings, though.

You're not allowed to just LOOK at the paintings, you have to STUDY up about them. Them's Museum Law, buddy.

Next time John complains about my hoofprints on teh wall I am going to tell him they are ART like this.

In conclusion, J.M.W. Turner is a study in contrasts. Thank you for coming to my museum talk.

Now, off to the gift shop to buy pencils!
