Please note that a more modern Marvel Ms., Jessica Jones, turned down the a very similar sort of adventure. Aw. But even she knows the cause-and-effect that has become such a popular trope in the Marvel Universe referring to what we what happened to Gwen not that long afterwards. Probably a smart decision, Jessica.

Kudos to Roy, and by extension Jonah, for getting the first part of the quote right. (Amazing Spider-Man #103 was one of my very first comics ever, by the way, likely a recent back-issue trade or flea-market find given the date.)
