Er, Bully... You do know that Chanukah shifts around a bit every year on the Gregorian calendar since it's out of sync with the traditional Jewish calendar, don't you? In 2000 Chanukah actually began on Dec. 22nd (per the Interwebs, not my memory). Growing up a kid of mixed parentage, I always loved it when Christmas and Chanukah overlapped and we had the candles of the menorah and the tree lit at the same time.
