Apparently Daisy's mother was frightened by a bonfire when Daisy was still an egg.

This was back in the day when all the cloth in Duckburg was soaked in kerosene.

Let us pause to consider that there are not only dog-nosed humans in Barks's world, but also dogs.

Oh, come on, Duck Limbaugh would have come up with that abbreviation months ago.

What we dont' see on panel is Uncle Scrooge rubbing his hands together in glee, thinking about how much money he'll make on the reconstruction of Duckburg.

One of the best Olympics stories ever. Barks's comic stories were even better than his adventures.
