Interesting that Bruce specifies that the tape is Beta, but Gene Colan drew a VHS tape.
Actually, Mark Evanier seemed to work in the "Beta vs. VHS" debate quite a bit...I remember a scene in "DNAgents" (or possibly the "Surge" mini-series spin-off) where Surge intimidates a crook by blasting his video player. The crook shouts "You melted my Betamax!" Surge replies "Sorry, I thought it was VHS."
