Harley and Ivy Are Best Friends, Day 3: It's Time for a Christmas Montage
Page from "The Harley and the Ivy" in The Batman Adventures Holiday Special one-shot (January 1995), co-plot by Paul Dini; co-plot, script, pencils, inks, and colors by Ronnie Del Carmen, letters by Richard Starkings
The single greatest panel in the history of comic books:
Who is that angry fella in the middle there? I think I recognize him from the series but I don't know. Could it simply be a particularly irate Bruce Wayne?
That is indeed a frustrated and angry Bruce Wayne. Context: Poison Ivy's kissed him and put him under her power, and she and Harley are dragging Bruce around Gotham from shop to shop, using his credit card to ring of goodies for themselves. Of course, Bruce eventually shakes off Poison Ivy's toxin and is able to change into the Batman and apprehend them. (Was there any doubt?)
They went shopping at Kirby's Hat Emporium!
