Did someone at Marvel have shares in McDonalds? I remember an issue of Iron Man pushing the unnamed 'Golden Arches' eatery a couple of years later (an issue that ended in the Far East).
Ah, this takes me back. I bought this new off of the spinner rack, and have been referring to McDonalds as the Temple of the Golden Arches ever since.
