Zzzzzzzzz...zzz...snort...snort!
Uh! Oh! Oh! I fell asleep! I fell asleep and now it is past ten in the evening! Oh no! The bookstores have all closed again and now I won't be able to get my copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows! Oh nooooooo.
Wait a minute...what's that? What's this?
Could it be...?
Yes! Yes! It is! It's Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!!!!
All was well.
I'm glad it all worked out for you Bully.
ReplyDeleteI was about to send you my own reserved copy ...
That's a great London underground pillowcase!
ReplyDeleteNot too sure about the book's cover art though...
Awww, I love a happy ending. Good for you, little stuffed bull!
ReplyDelete(I'm especially impressed that you refrained from throttling your old pal John, for not telling you he had a copy pre-ordered all along...)
***Not too sure about the book's cover art though...***
Yeah, the American edition does seem a little anti-climactic. Out of curiosity, now that the books are more 'mature', are they still rewriting the Britspeak to avoid confusing the kiddies?
I've just got to ask: How did you get the same sheets that Laura and I have on our bed?
ReplyDeleteHmm, come to think of it, I don't seem to recall seeing them since you visited this past spring...
