This per Mark Evanier and Cartoon Brew's Jerry Beck. So we have some neat info but still don't know who Ron's new hero is — Gaspar Saladino moving into the position of strongest possibility, I think, in terms of the time frame and his versatility.Blamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07342343767763035991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16823651.post-72753593693761370992014-10-06T00:04:34.787-04:002014-10-06T00:04:34.787-04:00Now I have to frame this laptop. Among other things, I believe that Mayer had pretty much carte blanche to do his stuff, so it wouldn't make sense for him to submit pages to DC for lettering by someone else only to have them returned to him for inks. The lettering also doesn't particularly look like the work of anyone else.Blamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07342343767763035991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16823651.post-719286161701335582014-10-03T08:23:36.751-04:002014-10-03T08:23:36.751-04:00Ron, I've always thought Sheldon Mayer lettere...Ron, I've always thought Sheldon Mayer lettered his own work but I don't have any confirmation on that.

(Blam, you know so much more about letterers on DC books -- do you know?)Bullyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11708103213119467419noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16823651.post-78323233107691448382014-10-03T00:08:34.202-04:002014-10-03T00:08:34.202-04:00Whoever the letterer is on this is my new hero.Whoever the letterer is on this is my new hero.Ron Hoganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05062268830255707992noreply@blogger.com
