Huh, that's a kinda big coloring change! And, interestingly, my Fourth World Omnibus has the "new" coloring scheme.

Yeah, I have both the 1984 reprints and the omnibus but i never knew they'd actually changed colors. Since kirby worked on the 84 reprints (even did some new material) it's possible he approved or even asked for the changes. I wonder what the story is?
