Didn't Doctor Doom go to college with Ben Grimm?

Ok, maybe Ben isn't the sharpest crayon in the box, but surely Daredevil would have some sort of inkling that punching a man wearing a suit of armor would be a bad idea.

Not to gripe about Stan the man's grammer, but doesn't "not aware that he himself was once the Thing," sound like Doctor Doom was once the Thing, and doesn't remember.

How did Doom manage not to see Ben when they were at school together?

DOOM pays no heed to lesser intellects... especially not those who are only at an Institute of Higher Learning on a Football scholarship.

Oaf!

(doubly-especially, since the Jocks would routinely hold the head of DOOM in the toilet for "swirlies" after their riotous return from panty-raiding the girls sororities.

Doom could not see the features of Grimm behind the tears of his loneliness... and the toilet-water.)

You know it's a Vince Colletta job when you see the tremendous amout of ink used to delineate muscles and other anatomy. Nice inking in Dr. Doom's cape as well.
