That toy would be fun for about three minutes, I'd think.

Great cover gallery, Bully!

Best Ten of a Kind ever!

(Of course, I always think that.)

I think I had that same toy - it took me all of three minutes to find a way to puncture the S.O.B. and render it worthless. Also note that I looked just like that adorable tyke in the ad.

Looks like that kid was pumping that Thing toy up for like a year!

Very little says "70s Marvel" more than the juxtaposition of It's Clobberin' Time and Daimon Hellstrom.

Nowadays it'd cost three times as much, have a battery-powered inflator, and still be fun for only 3 minutes.

A bit of a nonsequitor granted, but doesn't this Boingboing link look suspiciously like something you wrote a while back? http://www.boingboing.net/2007/12/14/cutaways-of-fantasti.html
Sorry I can't find it in your archives, but I felt you deserve the credit first.

OR, AS HE SAID TO THE GUY WHO MADE THOSE BIG BOOTS
(WAY BACK IN F.F. #3/4)...

"...IT'S COBBLERIN' TIME!"
